Born and raised in East Africa, Tanzania, I grew up in a household headed by my single mother, along with my seven siblings. In 2013, I moved to the Bronx, New York City to continue my journey in the creative world.

Creativity has been my passion since childhood. I have fond memories of crafting our own toys. After school, we would search for  empty half-gallon containers of Chibuku, a famous traditional beer, and recycle them to create makeshift vehicles.  These early experiences of improvisation later developed into a passion for the multimedia creative industry. When I came to understand how great design could change lives in communities like mine, I dove in and didn’t look back.
